New Gameplay Features
Battle Map - On the wall of the Battlemaster's Office is a giant map of Alceon. Each territory is color coded, by who occupies it currently, and changes as lands are taken over by new forces. If you want to take over the region, just select it, and stats will show up for the territory, along with your army's stats, and the recommendation of the Battlemaster is at the bottom of the stats. There is a Begin Battle button next to the Battlemaster's recommendation. If you click it, it then shows a clip of your army caravan marching to battle. Then it will calculate the resource statistics for both sides and add a bit of randomness into the mix, and it will also increase your odds if you have higher luck. Then the specific battle sequence video, for either the win or loose scenario is shown. If you loose you must revert to a saved game :(
Fear/Infamy Meter - It is influenced by the amount of passive NPCs and Creatures you kill (weather seen or not), and the decisions you make. It is easier to intimidate and bribe people with a high fear meter, and chances that enemy NPCs will flee from battle are increased. But if you do not have a high reputation, NPCs will be less likely to talk to you or give information to "scum like you" either because they are afraid, or because the believe they are more noble than you. For every fear point added, a reputation point is taken away. Negative reputation is embarrassing, but only results in difficulty bartering or persuading. If your Fear is ever 10 higher than your Reputation, you are expelled from House Krodus, because you are unholy. (Casualties in battles do not count, unless you are evil)
Genetic Make-up Kit - Use this legendary machine to change your physical appearance, to that of any standard race or creature. (Unusable while wearing lich helm, werewolf bane, or vampire ring.) This will also change your racial powers, but if you already permanently have powers like waterbreathing, it wont be very useful to change into an Argonian, in terms of powers. You cannot wear a helm or shoes while using this because it is holy. (Really because if you change into a khajit or argonian there will be problems). It first asks if you want to change into a creature or humanoid. If you choose humanoid, the standard race menu shows up. If you choose creature...you can change into a variety of creatures by clicking the corresponding button. (It will use the same scripts as the necromancy mod if we get permission) The evil, not holy, version of this is the Transmogrifier, which allows you to change into chthonic creatures and chthonic races. (chthonic creatures include modified daedric and undead creatures).
Mail/Bills/Checks - Read them, and if they are either a bill or check (that are magically watermarked by the bank), you can choose to pay the bill out of your bank account, or if it is a check, you may deposit the check into your bank account, or cash it. Checks come from the taxpayers, and anyone who uses your services, or any factions you aquired. Bills include military and guard food expenses, mercenary (non-companion) salaries, services like gardeners. Bills increase with each day you don't pay them, and after awhile the service (soldier, guard, gardner, janitor, etc) is cut off, and a bill collector comes to your door, and will ask for the money. If you don't pay your reputation goes down, and that service will cost more money to restart, unless it was permanently cut off.
Newspaper - It arrives every so often on your doorstep with your other mail, whenever you read it, you'll hear the latest news (such as news of dragon attacks, or raids), tells of the latest invasions, also tells hints, tips, and tricks for the game. Also contained in each copy is the mod credits, as well as in the ending.
Schedule Book - A book in your mansion's parlor that pops up a menu that lists dates numerically in order from the day you became praetor. It also writes today next to today's number. In here you can look at who is scheduled to arrive at your mansion, and what is scheduled to happen, such as missions you've assigned to be completed by a certain date. Nobody may arrive until 6:30 AM for religious reasons. (you shouldn't let too many people pile up in your parlor though, if they need to stay escort them to a guest room, if not tell them they may go, and they will return to their residence.
Slave/Companion Rings - Automatically teleports your slave or companion to your side, from wherever they are. They are given to you with the deed to your slave, or by the companion. Not all companions have rings, especially ones that you've controlled yourself, or ones that will only be your companion for a short period of time. The rings wont work if you don't renew your contract with that companion, but not all companions need contract renewal, some are your permanent companions.
Real Estate - NPCs in your capitol city may come up to you and ask to build in your city, and pay you for it. This is also increases your tax revenue. The higher your reputation, the more they will pay. Some NPCs will not contact you until your reputation reaches a certain point.
